Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb lean ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
- 14 ounces chili beans, in sauce
- 14 ounces petite diced tomatoes, undrained
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 dash oregano
- salt
- cayenne pepper, easily substitute a packet of chili seasoning for the spices
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sour cream
Recipe
- 1 place ground beef and onions in a pot and fry until beef is no longer pink.
- 2 drain grease off beef and onion mixture.
- 3 place chili beans, tomatos, mushrooms and seasoning into chili.
- 4 bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- 5 enjoy!
