Beef Round Roast

Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 round roast (approx. 3 pounds)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325f degrees.
- 2 spread half of the onions on the bottom of a roaster.
- 3 rinse roast under the tap, pat dry with paper towel, and place on onion mixture.
- 4 sprinkle pepper and salt on roast.
- 5 cover with garlic and remaining onions.
- 6 mix water and worcestershire sauce, and pour over roast.
- 7 cover and cook in preheated oven for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until roast is tender, basting often.
- 8 after done cooking, let roast stand for 10-15 minutes in order to carve more easily.
