Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, cut-up with liquid
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 lb ground beef, browned & drained
- 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked & drained
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 in large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
- 2 add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano.
- 3 add ground beef.
- 4 simmer.
- 5 place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- 6 top with half of the vegetable mixture.
- 7 sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- 8 repeat layers.
- 9 mix soup and water until smooth; pour over casserole.
- 10 sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 11 bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree oven or until heated through.
