Basic Meatballs

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 lb ground veal
  • 1/3 lb ground lamb
  • 1/3 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1/2 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce

Recipe

  • 1 1) preheat oven to 400°f.
  • 2 2) mince (very, very fine) onion, garlic and parsley.
  • 3 3) use hands to mix ground meats, minced onion, minced garlic, minced parsley, bread crumbs and egg.
  • 4 4) add pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • 5 5) use hands to roll meatballs into 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter (whatever your preference). put rolled meatballs into 9x13 baking pan.
  • 6 6) cover meatballs with sauce (you can use homemade, but jarred works just fine).
  • 7 7) cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
