Baked Southern Fried Round Steak

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 2 lbs round steaks
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 onion, sliced
• 1 1/2 cups beef broth

Recipe

• 1 cut steak in serving size pieces.
• 2 in shallow bowl mix flour.
• 3 salt and pepper.
• 4 in another bowl,place beaten eggs and milk.
• 5 heat oil in 10 inch skillet.
• 6 put steak in flour, then eggs, then flour again.
• 7 fry on med till browned.
• 8 place in baking pan.
• 9 put onions over steak.
• 10 pour broth on onions.
• 11 cover and bake at 350* for 60 minutes.
• 12 uncover, stir, and bake 30 minutes more.
