Beef And Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 8 ounces wide egg noodles, prepared according to package
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 brown ground beef and minced garlic. add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar to beef mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 3 in a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and onion, mixing well.
  • 4 in prepared 3 quart casserole dish, layer 1/2 of noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture, then 1/2 meat mixture. repeat the layers. spread grated cheese on top of the last layer.
  • 5 bake for 30 minutes.
