Barbecue Muffins

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees and grease cupcake/ muffin pan.
  • 2 seperate dough into 12 bisquits. flatten dough into 5 inch circles. press into bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin cup; set aside.
  • 3 in a skillet brown ground beef. drain grease.
  • 4 in small bowl mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and chili powder; stire until smooth.
  • 5 add ketchup mixture to ground beef. divide meat mixture evenly between all 12 cups. (about 1/4 cup for each).
  • 6 sprinkle with cheese.
  • 7 bake 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 8 cool 5 minutes in pan then let cool on cooling rack.
