Belgian Beef Skewers With Beer Bbq Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless beef roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup ale
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- salt & pepper
Recipe
- 1 if using bamboo skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes before using.
- 2 combine all sauce ingredients in a heavy pot- drink the rest of the beer!
- 3 bring to a boil& simmer until sauce thickens (about 10 minutes).
- 4 thread beef on skewers& brush with bbq sauce.
- 5 grill on high heat, lid down, for about 5- 6 minutes per side (total 10- 12 minutes) or until still pink in the center.
- 6 serve with extra sauce for dipping.
