Bachelor Beef Stew

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 3 medium onions, cut into quarters
• 2 lbs stewing beef
• 6 carrots, cut up
• 1 cup celery, cut up
• 1 lb tomato
• 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 4 medium potatoes, quartered
• 3 tablespoons tapioca
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Recipe

• 1 place all ingredients in a heavy 5 quart pot with tightly fitting cover.
• 2 bake in 300 degree oven for 5 hours.
• 3 do not open oven at any time.
