Beef Tenderloin

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 -4 lbs beef tenderloin, trimmed and tied
  • olive oil
  • garlic salt
  • fresh coarse ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°f.
  • 2 smear outside of the tenderloin liberally with olive oil. sprinkle liberally with garlic salt and pepper.
  • 3 put the tenderloin on a broiler pan, and roast in 325f oven for 15 minutes per pound for rare or 20 minutes per pound for medium rare.
  • 4 let rest 10-15 minutes before carving.
