Beef And Cheese Pie

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/4 lbs beef, ground
  • 1/3 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce & mushrooms
  • 1 cup cut green beans
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 fry ground beef,onion and green bell pepper in a large frying pan.
  • 3 drain fat.
  • 4 stir in tomato sauce, beans,and seasoning.
  • 5 simmer while preparing crust.
  • 6 separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  • 7 place in an ungreased 9" pie pan.
  • 8 press bottom and sides to form a crust.
  • 9 combine egg and 1 cup cheese.
  • 10 spread over crust,evenly.
  • 11 spoon hot meat mixture into crust.
  • 12 sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • 13 bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
