Beef Bourguignon Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb ground beef, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine (preferably burgundy)
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup medium egg noodles
  • sour cream, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in saucepan, combine all ingredients. bring to boil, stirring. reduce heat.
  • 2 simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. garnish with sour cream before serving.
