- 2 (5 lb) beef brisket (totaling about 10 lbs.)
- lawrey's seasoning salt
- garlic powder
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 275 degrees fahrenheit.
- 2 place briskets in pan fat side up in foiled pan. do not add water. sprinkle with garlic, pepper and salt. cover and cook for 6 hours. uncover for last hour of the cooking time.
- 3 it makes its own gravy. if you think you will need more gravy, you can add a little water to the pan drippings and flavor with boullion, garlic and pepper.
- 4 before slicing, scrape the fat layer off the top of the meat. cut against the grain of the meat.
