Beef With Green Peppers

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 3 lbs boneless chuck roast, 1 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon garlic and red chile paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 4 cups green peppers, slice into large wedges

Recipe

  • 1 in a large heavy pot add in the beef, salt and pepper and sauté over a high heat. after 5 minutes add the oil and stirring the beef and when the beef is golden brown add garlic, onion, water, chili paste, and ginger and oyster sauce and bring to a boil and after 5 minutes on high heat reduce to a simmer. when the meat is about tender add green pepper wedge and simmer for 60 minutes. check the broth for seasoning.
