beef tips

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 rump roast
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 1 package lipton onion soup mix
  • salt and black pepper
  • bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

  • 1 trim roast and cut into bitesize chunks.
  • 2 in large pot brown meat in oil,tossing until all meat is browned.
  • 3 the meat will have a broth after browning so to that add the other ingredients and simmer until tender but not falling apart.
  • 4 bay leaf is very important.
  • 5 dont leave it out.
  • 6 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7 thicken with flour and water mixed to a semi thick paste.
  • 8 serve over rice.
