slow cooker beef stew with parsnip

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 parsnip, peeled and chopped
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 (1.2 ounce) packages dry brown gravy mix
  • 2 envelopes onion gravy mix
  • 2 packets beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

    Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

    Ready Time: 8 hrs 20 mins

  • mix ground beef, carrots, onions, parsnip, sweet potato, water, brown gravy mix. onion gravy mix, beef bouillon, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and thyme in a slow cooker.
  • cook on low for 8 hours.
