Beef And Mushroom Stew

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean beef round steak, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup dry wine
- 8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
- salt and pepper
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and kept warm
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker.
- 2 cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
- 3 turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. season to taste with salt and pepper.
- 4 serve over noodles.
