Beef And Mushroom Stew

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb lean beef round steak, cubed
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and kept warm

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker.
  • 2 cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
  • 3 turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 4 serve over noodles.
