Best Meatloaf Ever

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 5 slices bread
- 2 lbs ground beef, extra lean
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 slices bacon, trimmed of the fat
- 3 tablespoons condensed tomato soup
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 combine milk, ketchup and worcestershire sauce.
- 3 trim crusts from the bread,add the seasoned milk and soak for 10 minutes , then beat with a fork.
- 4 mix meat,bread,mustard ,onion and herbs together with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5 mix in the eggs.
- 6 pack lightly into a loaf pan,top with bacon slices.
- 7 bake for 45 minutes.
- 8 remove bacon and spread tomato soup on top.
- 9 bake an additional 15 mins or until the loaf shrinks slightly away from the pan.
