Beef And Asparagus Stir-fry

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 lb stir-fry beef, cubed
  • 1/2 lb fresh asparagus spear, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 (16 ounce) package fresh stir fry vegetables
  • hot cooked rice, if desired

Recipe

  • 1 combine all sauce ingredients in small bowl.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 melt butter in wok or 12-inch nonstick skillet; add beef.
  • 4 cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned (6 to 8 minutes).
  • 5 add sauce, asparagus and vegetables.
  • 6 cover; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and vegetables are heated through (6 to 8 minutes).
  • 7 serve with hot cooked rice, if desired.
