Bbq Lamb Sandwiches

Total Time: 5 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 lbs boneless lamb loin roast, fat trimmed
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce
  • 8 large wheat sandwich buns
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce

Recipe

  • 1 place roast on bottom of slow cooker. combine broth, 1/3 cup each worcestershire and frank's sauce. pour over roast.
  • 2 cover and cook on high-heat setting 5 hours, or until roast is tender.
  • 3 meanwhile, combine ingredients for sauce in large bowl; set aside.
  • 4 transfer roast to large cutting board. discard liquid in bottom of slow cooker. coarsley chop roast, or shred with two forks.
  • 5 transfer roast back into slow cooker. stir in sauce.
  • 6 heat on "keep warm' until ready to serve.
  • 7 spoon onto large wheat sandwich rolls and enjoy!
