Apple & Sausage Toss

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 500 g lamb sausage (american-style breakfast sausages also work)
  • 4 granny smith apples
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • cinnamon, to sprinkle

Recipe

  • 1 cook sausages over medium heat, in a frying pan. set aside.
  • 2 core the apples, and cut each one into 8 wedges.
  • 3 add the butter to the sausage drippings.
  • 4 cook the apples in the butter over high heat, until brown.
  • 5 sprinkle with the sugar.
  • 6 add the sausages.
  • 7 transfer to a warmed platter and
  • 8 sprinkle with cinnamon to serve.
  • 9 serve with corn fritters.
