Apple & Sausage Toss

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 500 g lamb sausage (american-style breakfast sausages also work)
- 4 granny smith apples
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- cinnamon, to sprinkle
Recipe
- 1 cook sausages over medium heat, in a frying pan. set aside.
- 2 core the apples, and cut each one into 8 wedges.
- 3 add the butter to the sausage drippings.
- 4 cook the apples in the butter over high heat, until brown.
- 5 sprinkle with the sugar.
- 6 add the sausages.
- 7 transfer to a warmed platter and
- 8 sprinkle with cinnamon to serve.
- 9 serve with corn fritters.
