Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef stew meat
- 3 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 (14 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 whole clove
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 place beef in slow cooker. add carrots, onion, celery and tomatoes.
- 2 stir in tapioca, clove, bay leaves, salt and pepper. cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
- 3 remove from slow cooker and allow to cool. place in freezer bag. label and freeze.
- 4 to serve: thaw. heat until hot and bubbly. serve with bread.
