Aaron's Mom's Beef & Lamb Meat Loaf With Glaze

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup cracker crumb
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning or 1/4 teaspoon sausage seasoning
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine all the ingredients listed up to "glaze".
  • 2 if using a 5x13x13 shallow pan, bake for one hour. if using a loaf pan, bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • 3 mix the glaze ingredients together thoroughly and serve as a side to the done meatloaf.
