Beef Stew

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 26 ounces beef, cubed
  • 3 potatoes, pared and quartered
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon pepper
  • 3 cups water or 3 cups broth

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients in a baking dish or casserole. stir to blend thoroughly. add water to cover, approx 2-3 cups.
  • 2 cover dish with lid or foil.
  • 3 place on rack.
  • 4 set thermostat at 150 deg c or 300 deg f and cook 2-3 hours.
