Beefy Biscuit Bake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 -1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 12 ounces beef gravy (i use pepperidge farm gravy)
  • 3 -4 tablespoons water
  • 1 dash mrs. dash table blend seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 -8 biscuits, cut into quarters

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef with onion, celery, and mushrooms until beef is completely browned (no pink) and the vegetables are tender. add the mixed vegetables, gravy, water, and ms dash. simmer 5 to 10 minutes. add salt and pepper to taste. pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray. lay biscuits on the top of the mixture. bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and beef mixture is bubbly.
