Beef-stuffed Crescents

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 tubes refrigerated crescent dinner rolls (8 ounces each)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, cook beef and chilies over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • 2 add the cream cheese, cumin and chili powder. cool slightly.
  • 3 separate crescent dough into 24 triangles. place 1 tablespoon of beef mixture along the short end of each triangle; carefully roll up.
  • 4 place point side down 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • 5 bake at 375° for 11-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 6 serve warm, or at room temperature. yield: 2 dozen.
