Beef N'potato Bake

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed (i used the shredded kind)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 packages brown gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can fried onions
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 2 in a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish, combine oil, hash browns and pepper.
- 3 press firmly to sides and bottom of dish.
- 4 bake uncovered@ 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 5 brown beef, drain.
- 6 stir in gravy pkgs, water, garlic salt.
- 7 bring to boil.
- 8 add veggies and reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- 9 stir in 1/2 cheese and 1/2 can fried onions.
- 10 bake 15 minutes@ 350 degrees.
- 11 sprinkle remainder of cheese and onions on top and bake another 5 minutes.
