4/2 - Round Steak Bake

Total Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cooking oil
  • 3/4 lb round steaks or 3/4 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 3 medium carrots, quartered
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 10 ounces tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon gravy master

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 300ºf.
  • 2 heat cooking oil in a frying pan.
  • 3 add steak cut in serving size pieces.
  • 4 brown both sides.
  • 5 transfer to ungreased 2-quart casserole.
  • 6 add potatoes, carrots, and onion.
  • 7 combine soup, water, salt, pepper, and gravy master.
  • 8 pour over ingredients in casserole.

  • 10 bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours; until beef is tender.
