Basic Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 kg ground beef
- 2 (400 g) cans tomato puree
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
- sea salt
- cracked black pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat a large frying pan. add the oil, garlic, onion, and cook for 3 minutes or until just soft.
- 2 add th emince and cook, stirring, until brown.
- 3 add the tomato puree and stock and rapidly simmer for 10-15 minutes or until thickened to your liking.
- 4 stir through the parsley, salt and pepper.
