Barbecued Meatballs

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef (chuck works well)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 small green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (apple cider)

Recipe

  • 1 combine first four ingredients.
  • 2 shape into meatballs.
  • 3 place into greased 9"x9" pan.
  • 4 combine next 6 ingredients in small sauce pan.
  • 5 bring to a boil, turn down and simmer gently until peppers are tender.
  • 6 pour over meatballs.
  • 7 cover pan with foil and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
  • 8 serve meatballs with sauce spooned over them.
