Beerocks

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 loaves bridgford frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, salt and lemon pepper until beef is browned.
  • 2 add cabbage, worcestershire sauce and caraway seeds.
  • 3 cook until cabbage is limp.
  • 4 drain liquid from filling mixture.
  • 5 on a lightly floured board, roll each loaf of dough out to a 12-inch circle. cut each circle into 6 wedges.
  • 6 spoon cabbage-meat filling onto center of each dough piece, dividing equally.
  • 7 pull three points of each wedge up to the center and pinch to seal.
  • 8 using a little flour on fingers, pinch side edges to seal around filling making 3 seams.
  • 9 place beerocks on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • 10 bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 11 serve hot or wrap and freeze (after cooled) for reheating later.
