Beef And Black Bean Burritos

Ingredients

- 1 lb beef round steak
- 16 ounces black beans, canned
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1/2 cup onion
- 4 ounces green chilies
- 3 tablespoons cilantro
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 thinly slice the beef round, then cube into 1/4 inch cubes.
- 2 rinse and drain the black beans.
- 3 prepare the salsa fresca by blending the remaining ingredients in a food processor.
- 4 take 1/4 of the salsa fresca and mix it with the cubed meat.
- 5 take 1/4 of the salsa fresca and mix it with the black beans.
- 6 allow the meat and beans to marinate for 45 minutes.
- 7 cook the meat in a skillet over a high heat, until the meat is no longer pink and all the liquid has evaporated.
- 8 microwave the beans for 1 minute on high, or until hot.
- 9 serve with warm tortillas.
