Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 lbs top round roast
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 14 ounces organic beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup chopped onion
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; rub roast with
- 2 garlic, salt and pepper.
- 3 cook 2 minutes per side or until browned.
- 4 transfer to a slow cooker.
- 5 stir in broth, wine, vinegar and onion.
- 6 cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or until tender.
