Black Bean And Corn Soup

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb 96% lean ground beef
  • 2 cups frozen corn
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup instant minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 spray non-stick dutch overn or large sauce pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 2 add ground beef and brown over medium-high heat.
  • 3 drain beef on paper towels.
  • 4 return beef to pan.
  • 5 add all remaining ingredients.
  • 6 bring to a boil.
  • 7 reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes to blend flavors.
