Beef With Sour Cream

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb round steak
- 1/2 cup flour (seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic salt)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3/4 chopped onion
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 (14 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (and liquid)
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
- 1/2-3/4 cup sour cream
- 3 -4 cups cooked rice
Recipe
- 1 cut meat into narrow strips.
- 2 dredge in flour.
- 3 quickly brown in hot oil.
- 4 add onion, broth, spices,mushroom liquid.
- 5 cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until beef is tender.
- 6 add mushrooms and peas.
- 7 stir in sour cream.
- 8 heat but do not boil.
- 9 serve over hot rice.
