Beef Pitas With Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb beef top sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 4 teaspoons olive oil, divided
- 4 whole pita breads, warmed
- 8 ounces plain fat-free yogurt
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 for the sauce, in a small bowl, combine all the ingredients listed for the sauce, and refrigerate until serving.
- 2 in a large resealable plastic bag, combine the oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper, shake well.add beef seal bag again, and toss to coat.
- 3 in a large nonstick skillet, saute onion in 2 teaspoons oil until golden brown.
- 4 remove and keep warm.
- 5 saute beef in remaining oil until no longer pink.
- 6 serve beef and onion on pitas with yogurt sauce.
