Beef N' Tater Bake

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup catsup
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- additional ketchup, for topping (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine meat, bread crumbs, egg, onion, catsup, salt and pepper.
- 2 pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.
- 3 bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- 4 drain excess fat.
- 5 pour 3 cups of hot mashed potatoes on top.
- 6 drizzle with catsup, if desired.
- 7 bake for another 20 minutes.
