Beef N Beer - Crock Pot

Total Time: 7 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 -3 lbs boneless beef chuck roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 cups beer
  • 1/4 cup flour

Recipe

  • 1 coat beef cubes with the 1/2 cup flour.
  • 2 brown in melted butter.
  • 3 drain off excess fat.
  • 4 in crock pot, combine browned meat with onion, salt, pepper, garlic and beer.
  • 5 cover and cook on low 5-7 hours until meat is tender.
  • 6 turn control to high.
  • 7 dissolve remaining 1/4 cup flour in small amount of water.
  • 8 stir into meat mixture, cook on high 30-40 minutes.
  • 9 serve with rice or hot noodles.
