Ingredients

- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 4 cups potatoes, cubed
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 (12 ounce) package little smokies sausages or 1 (12 ounce) package hot dogs, sliced
- 1/2 lb american cheese, cubed
Recipe
- 1 cook an stir onion in butter in 3-quart saucepan on medium-high heat until tender.
- 2 add potatoes, water, celery and seasonings.
