- 1/4 cup dry pearl barley
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 3 -4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1/4 chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon minute tapioca

- 1 combine all ingredients in slow cooker. cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
