Beef Stroganoff

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb round steak
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup bouillon
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 4 dashes worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 cut beef into thin slices.
  • 2 brown in beef and onions in the butter.
  • 3 stir in flour.
  • 4 cook and stir over low heat until mix bubbles and is smooth.
  • 5 add and stir in beef stock.
  • 6 boil 2 minutes.
  • 7 add sour cream alternately with the tomato paste.
  • 8 simmer and stir about 10 minutes.
  • 9 salt and pepper.
