Beef Burgundy

Total Time: 5 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 kg chuck steak, diced into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8 button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup beef stock

Recipe

  • 1 combine flour, salt and black pepper. coat the beef cubes in the seasoned flour.
  • 2 heat olive oil in frying pan and brown the beef cubes.
  • 3 place the beef and remaining ingredients into the slow cooker.
  • 4 mix and combine well.
  • 5 cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
