Beefy Mushroom Skillet

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope lipton beefy onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons red wine
  • 2 dashes maggi seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Recipe

  • 1 to make gravy:.
  • 2 combine beefy onion soup, flour in a medium sauce pan. set on high heat. slowly stir in water. add wine, maggi seasoning and pepper. bring to a boil. then, reduce heat to medium, stirring frequently. stir 5-6 minutes or until gravy is thickened.
  • 3 cook noodles according to package directions and drain well.
  • 4 brown ground beef in skillet. drain grease. add mushrooms and sauté for about 3 minutes. add gravy to beef, stir, then add noodles and mix well. cook in skillet about 3-5 minutes.
