Beef-stuffed Crescents

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 dash sugar
  • 2 (8 ounce) containers refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 in large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • 2 stir in the pickle relish, garlic, salt, chili powder, pepper and sugar; set aside.
  • 3 unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • 4 cut each in half lengthwise, forming two triangles.
  • 5 place 1 t beef mixture and some cheese along the wide end of each triangle, carefully roll up.
  • 6 place point side down 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • 7 bake at 375 degrees for 11-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 8 serve warm.
