Beef... Perfect Beef Rib Roast

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -8 lbs rib roast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 roast should be @ room temperature before you start cooking. bake in open roaster pan 1 1/4 hours fat side up, in a 375 oven.
  • 2 turn off oven and do not open the door.leave the meat in unopened oven for about 2 hours.
  • 3 forty five minutes before serving, sprinkle with salt and pepper turn oven to 300. you can add other spices if you would like.
  • 4 this recipe is fine for any size roast over 4 pounds. count on one pound per person. all the slices will be the same shade of pink.
