Baked Spaghetti

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned

Recipe

  • 1 in large skillet, saute onion and peppers with ground beef, then drain off grease.
  • 2 add tomatoes, mushroom, olives, and oregano.
  • 3 simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • 4 place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
  • 5 top with half of the vegetable mixture.
  • 6 sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  • 7 repeat layers.
  • 8 mix the mushroom soup with the water and pour over the casserole.
  • 9 sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 10 bake at 350°f for 30 minutes or until heated through.
