Baked Spaghetti

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, sauté onion and green pepper in butter until tender. add tomatoes and oregano. add ground beef. simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • 2 place half of the spaghetti in greased 13in x 9in x 2in baking dish. top with half beef mixture. sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. repeat layers.
  • 3 mix the soup and water until smooth; pour over the casserole. sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 4 bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
