Beef And Pepper Stir Fry

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 5 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 lbs beef steaks, cut in strips,approximately
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 small green pepper, thinly sliced

Recipe

  • 1 combine soy sauce, vinegar, 3 tsp cornstarch, and garlic.
  • 2 add beef strips.
  • 3 marinate 30 minutes.
  • 4 combine water and remaining 2tsps cornstarch.
  • 5 set aside.
  • 6 heat 2 tbsp oil in a skillet.
  • 7 add beef and marinade.
  • 8 stir fry until almost done.
  • 9 add water chestnuts and green pepper.
  • 10 stir fry until as done as you like.
  • 11 add cornstarch mixture.
  • 12 cook and stir until it boils and thickens, a couple minutes.
