Bbq Meatballs (courtesy Of Pioneer Woman)

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons onions, very finely minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • ground black pepper (plenty, to taste)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (coating for frozen meatballs)
  • canola oil
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 4 -6 tablespoons onions
  • tabasco sauce (1 dash (or more)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 combine ground beef, oats, milk, 3t very finely minced onion, salt and black pepper.
  • 3 roll into medium-small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  • 4 place sheet in freezer for five minutes.
  • 5 after 5 minutes, remove meatballs from freezer and immediately dredge in unseasoned flour.
  • 6 brown meatballs in canola oil until just brown.
  • 7 place into a baking dish.
  • 8 combine all sauce ingredients.
  • 9 pour over meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • 10 serve with egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or crusty french bread.
