Balsamic London Broil

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs top round london broil beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Recipe

  • 1 combine onion, vinegar, oil, garlic, marjoram and worcestershire in a blender or food processor. blend until smooth.
  • 2 place meat in a zip-lock bag or a shallow dish. pierce meat with a fork in several places. pour sauce over meat, turning to coat. let marinate in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
  • 3 preheat grill to medium (300º-350º). remove meat from marinade. if you want to use the marinade as a sauce, cook it in a sauce pan until it boils.
  • 4 place meat on grill, covered, for 7-12 minutes each side for medium rare. remove and let stand for 3 minutes. cut across the grain into thin slices and serve.
